Juanita Peters is an award-winning storyteller, writer and director of multiple award-winning documentaries including; Hannah’s Story, I Made A Vow and Africville Can’t Stop Now.  She is making her feature film debut this spring with 8:37 REBIRTH.

Sergio Navaretta: Internationally Award-Winning Director & Producer; Mentorship & Production Advisor, Being Black In Toronto
An internationally award-winning director who is fiercely passionate about bringing meaningful content to the screen, and has directed several short films, documentaries and 3 feature films, including The Cuban, starring Oscar winner Louis Gossett Jr.  which recently garnered several awards. The Cuban is currently in consideration for the 2021 Oscars.

Jorge Camarotti: Director, Writer, Photographer; Education Advisor & Mentor, Being Black In Canada Originally from Brazil, Jorge moved to Montreal, where he pursued a career as a professional photographer. After publishing a book and the studying Meisner, he realized that he could use empathy as a tool to spread his views of the world through storytelling and film. Jorge has directed a dozen short films, both documentary and fiction.
