Telling Our Stories - children will explore how stories can be told in a variety of ways and learn the importance of finding your voice and telling your own stories Wendie is a public-school educator who has a Masters in Africentric Leadership. She is an artist, writer and lover of community and culture. Born in Halifax and raised in the inner-city, Wendie proudly claims her heritage as part of the many African Nova Scotian families living throughout the province.
